Compatibility of .ppsf ( ver.2.x ) files and .vsqx files ( Piapro Studio NT )

Since the NT system is a newly developed singing voice synthesis method that is different from VOCALOID, it converts lyrics and other information so that it is optimal for vocalization in NT while maintaining a certain level of compatibility with VOCALOID when reading .ppsf (ver.2.x) files and .vsqx files; it is a specification.
Therefore, please note that it does not exactly match the VOCALOID score in Piapro Studio (ver.2.x).
If an unintended automatic conversion is applied when reading .ppsf or .vsqx files created in Piapro Studio (ver.2.x), we apologize for the inconvenience, but please make appropriate adjustments.

* We plan to continue studying the specifications, such as adding additional options for conversion in a future update.

・When the same vowel continues
In the NT system, “when the same vowel is adjacent and consecutive notes”, it is judged that the vowel is extended, and the phonetic symbol of the following note is automatically converted to “-“.
Also, if “the same vowels are not adjacent”, it will be determined as a re-singing of the vowels, and the phonetic symbols of the following notes will not be converted.

・When the E.V.E.C. parameter is included
Since the E.V.E.C. parameters of our V4X library and the NT library have different specifications/characteristics, their V4X E.V.E.C. parameters will be ignored when reading .ppsf (ver.2.x) or .vsqx files.

・When phonetic symbols other than the Japanese VOCALOID library are included
If you load a .ppsf (ver.2.x) or .vsqx file that contains a track that uses a non-Japanese VOCALOID library, it will not be pronounced correctly as is because the system of pronunciation symbols is different. Please note that it is necessary to re-type the lyrics into Japanese.
